The 2008 Autumn Life is a Garden - Lifestyle Gardening promotion is centre around the theme of ‘winter warmth’. The outdoor room continues
to be an important part of the Australian lifestyle, with 71% of Australians recognising their garden as an outdoor living room.
As the increase in home and garden improvement shows, more people are putting time and effort into making their garden an extension of their home.
Current trends indicate we're concentrating more on green-life than in previous years.
So for Autumn 2008 we are leveraging off the importance of the outdoor room and encouraging consumers to create a sense of serenity and a outdoor
sanctuary with colour. This is underpinned through the message ‘warm up your garden this winter with colour’.
Under the new strategic direction of a NGIA special interest group BPA will partnered with NGIA to utilise their effective consumer communication and marketing tools to drive this promotion.
