Plant Exports Management System (PEMS) Released
Do you export plants or plant products from Australia?
Are you a plant exports Authorised Officer?
Do you work at a company that exports plants from Australia?
If so, then the Plant Exports Management System (PEMS) is a new IT system that will help make your job easier.
PEMS is designed to reduce the average documentation time for commodity inspections—saving you time and money.
PEMS will coordinate a range of processes to make the work of exporting plants and plant products from Australia more efficient.
These processes include the management of plant export inspection and documentation services.
PEMS is scheduled for its first release in November 2013.
We have many pre-registrations from around the world already and look forward to greeting international delegates to Australia. We promise them a typical relaxed and friendly welcome ‘Down Under’.
We also welcome registration for part or all of the Congress from Australians too. Registration is now open.
The Congress web site www.igccaustralia2013.com has all the information delegates will need at this time. The garden centres will be looking good as this is traditionally their busiest week of the year in Melbourne. Our football Grand Final will be over but Melbourne will still be abuzz with excitement and entertainment.
