A number of information and data gathering approaches have been undertaken to capture input from members and other industry stakeholders. The committee has:
- Facilitated industry-wide input via a professionally managed survey of all industry stakeholders. The survey which was open for one month and concluded on 2 August was conducted by Down to Earth Research (DTER) on behalf of the Committee. DTER will be undertaking an analysis of the results and presenting them to the Committee in August. Survey outcomes will be shared in the Committee's final report which will be delivered in November.
- Written submissions were invited for consideration by the Structure Review Committee and this concluded on 31 July. Contributors to this process will be identified in the Committee's final report. Publication of the submissions is at the contributors discretion.
- NGI Association network consultation continues as the Committee meets with the industry association bodies including National and State NGI Boards.
- Stakeholder consultation has been extensive with the Committee conducting a series of “town hall” consultation meetings to hear directly from members and industry stakeholders. From May to August, the Structure Review Committee attended at nine stakeholder consultation meetings in all States and Territories, except ACT which was cancelled due to low attendance.
