Gary Eyles - Chairman

Gary Eyles is a citrus tree grower, businessman and marketer, with over 46 years in the business of production horticulture. A third generation nurseryman, Gary operates the Eyles Citrus enterprise in Kenthurst, NSW. Gary is a past vice president of the NGINA and has in recent times sat on the boards of NGIA and chaired the NIASA committee at state and national level. Gary is active board member of AusCitrus and has been instrumental in the adoption of the new Citrus Security scheme. A founding member, director and past president of the International Society of Citrus Nurserymen, Gary is a contributor to the world of horticulture internationally and locally. Gary was recently awarded Life Membership of NGINA.


Glenn Fenton -Deputy Chairman
Nationwide Trees Pty Ltd,Victoria


Glenn Fenton established Nationwide Trees with his wife Jenni in 2003, following the purchase of Lucas Liners in 2002.He holds Bachelor of Social Science (Human Resource Development) andGraduate Diploma in Strategic Management Studies. Since joining the industry, Glenn has demonstrated commitment to the advancement of the industry, holding both State and National leadership roles including Chairof Victorian Tree & Shrub Growers Group, President and Vice-President ofNGIV, Directorand Vice President of NGIA; Member of the HAL- Nursery Industry Advisory Committee, Chair – NGIA Environmental & Technical Committee, Director of the MIFGS and presently Chairman. Glenn is also a Life Member of NGIV.


Carl Heyne Heyne's
Wholesale Nursery, South Australia


Carl Heyne is a 5 th generation nurseryman and senior manager in his family business Heyne’s Wholesale Nursery. With 22 years experience in the industry, and a background in production, sales and general management, Carl has a well rounded understanding of challenges being faced by businesses like his. In addition to Carl's nursery experience, he has qualifications in business management, has completed the AICD company directors course. Carl currently serves on the Landscape Association of South Australia Board of Management and recognizes the importance of industry and cross industry collaboration.



Gena Campbell
Redcliffe Garden Centre, Queensland


Gena Campbell has co-owned the Redcliffe Garden Centre since 2004, with her husband Ross. It was a very small Garden Centre and over the years has undergone many changes and won several awards. Gena was on the NGIQ Board of Directors for three years and resigned recently to join the Nursery Industry Structure Review Committee. As a keen and innovative Garden Centre Retailer, Gena is well aware of the problems faced by most of the Retail Sector and is an advocate for supporting Independent Garden Centre Retailers. Being part of the Plants Plus group, Gena was the Qld / Northern NSW National Representative for the last 2.5 years and has continued on in that role by assisting with information sharing between Home Timber & Hardware and the Plants Plus Garden Centres. Gena holds a Bachelor of Nursing and a Diploma in Business.
